True, Charles....although I've noticed you are often skeptical of science,
yourself.
Agreed, not only skeptical, but many times I complete disagree with eh
merits of it, such as roundup in potato chips... we worry about that, but
ignore the fat and salt levels!
The key in that though is a bit of discussion. Manners matter, and although
mine can be atrocious, I at least make an attempt.
I don't understand why this simple fact...that each location leads to
different circumstances, and that bees might behave or respond differently
in each place...is so confusing each time it comes up.
Actually several books on this topic! One downside of the WWW, is that we
often forget others are not in the same situations!
That's why there is so much frustration among us when lay people claim there
is no such thing as human-influenced climate change. Because by now, the
evidence is so overwhelming....thousands of corroborating studies....that
our science societies are making definitive statements, and that is a big
deal.
Not all the resistance is from people who don't believe it's changing.
Much of it is from those who have absolutely no faith in the cure or
"science" in its ability to fix it. Weather and climate are huge variables,
real hard for many of us to put faith in the ability to solve it when you
have leaders like Al standing up with complete lies demanding a huge tax.
In the mean time, lets keep up the debate!
Charles
