I see the above scenario played out quite frequently. For the sample to
show a 5% infestation 4 weeks after completing a treatment with MAQS, it
indicates that the infestation rate was considerable back in August.
But the numbers I provided showed an average 4% level in mid July. The MAQs were applied in early August and mid Sept.
One hive had 10%, but most were low. The colony they sampled showed 2% infestation in mid July. Yard average was never over 4%.
