botulinum (botulism) 270 ppb
tetanospasmin (tetanus) 75 ppb
How does one compare a bacteria that will multiply to this concept? Not sure how one applies that LD factor or a reproducing organism?
On the other hand, glyphosate is only about 3 times as toxic as pure alcohol.
Ethanol LD50 = 918 grams
Glyphosate 340 grams
and is less toxic than table salt, or bleach
Sodium Chloride 258 g
Sodium Hypochlorite 136 g
So then just for fun, lets do the math!.... How many pounds of honey with 653 ppm would you need to consume at one sitting to get a lethal dose??
If I do the math right it 5206738 Kilograms, or for metric challenged 11,454,823 pounds.
Thanks to Richard for help with the math, Looking at the decimal values that means that this honey was 99.9999347% pure. I am quite sure from a chemical standpoint nothing around us is anywhere near that.
Charles
