The terms 'candy' and 'fondant' are often used as though they were the same thing, but I think we should distinguish between them.

Why? We talk a LOT about what is "best" and one over the other, but I hear the same things all the time... "this works" is there any real differences to the bees? It sure seems to me this is much ado about food, when Sugar dumped on paper seems to work, Syrup in an inverted can works if its warm enough. Fondant works, and seems hard candy does also.....

Whats the real difference to the bees??

Charles
