Building on the premise that beekeeping keeps you young so to speak, I believe it is the pleasure of what you do that can keep your mind at ease, such as beekeeping, carving, even some farming, working with your hands and having a good sense of humor. You have to be able to laugh at yourself. This reminds me of when I was wAlking with my neighbor and an older gentleman had car problems. I offered my help and was told by him someone was coming. He asked me how old I thought he was, which alerted me to thinking he was looking younger than what he was. I thought to myself what the heck I'll be truthful; I said 83 or 84. He took out his drivers license and showed me; he was 104! He was a wood carver by this time after farming and driving a school bus. He passed away at 107. So, regardless of how much education you have I believe it is peace of mind and faith. And of course, the joy of honey bees. 🐝😊

Proverbs 16:24
Pleasant words are a honeycomb,
sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.
