I would not accuse anyone of false advertising, generally. About all I can say is buyer beware. On the other hand, there is a tower of evidence that shows that no food substitute for honey bees is as beneficial as a natural diet.
Then again, there are some natural sources that are inadequate and even toxic. So in the final analysis, the best diet comprises abundant varied natural sources which could be supplemented by artificial sources as needed.
