In trying to learn something about the Varroa mite I ran across this study
"Gene-knockdown in the honey bee mite Varroa destructor by a non-invasive
approach" http://www.parasitesandvectors.com/content/3/1/73 the pdf download
shows the charts better.
This leads me to ask the left field question. Can a frame be developed
complete with plastic cone and larva that is attractive but deadly to the
mites via gene knockdown while not allowing the bees to enter?
Cheers
