>Reading the study it appears that Thymovar, a strip based thymol product was used, and that the efficacy was poor. Is this a because of thymol resistance, or a poorly designed product?
Has anyone ever shown resistance to thymol? I have used it exclusively since varroa was found here (1997) and see very few varroa; the number of bees with deformed wings seen in the course of a season is very low - you would not need to take your shoes and socks off to count them.
Best wishes
