When I worked at the Weslaco lab, Bill Wilson told me that the ancient
Egyptians moved their bees up and down the Nile on barges to take advantage
of seasonal nectar flows. He would say (only half jokingly I think) that
he wold like spend his retirement that way. I'd reply (only half jokingly)
that I was pretty good with both bees and boats.
