I'm shouting here: What relationship does queen raising have to do with the title under which it was posted? Please people, change the post title to reflect the subject being discussed.

It typically takes 11-12 days 'til emergence, and then 12-14 days until eggs. Very dependent upon genetics and temperature. The earliest emergence to eggs that we ever see is 8 days, but if poor flight weather for mating, 14-20 days not uncommon.
Interesting note from east coast commercial breeders, they run between 14 and 21 days in a queen yard (that’s with a cell) depending on season and weather. And its not where you would think. Bottom line large scale guys see quite a spread also for queens to be back mated and laying good enough to say shes okay.
