thanks Randy for the tip
and thanks Sci-Hub for the conceded Doi
Lots of work downhere, not easy with so many hives and this NiƱo that
doesn't settle.
Bulk Honey price going down from us$4 to us$2, not sure why, but not good
for bussiness.
Been just reading your conversation about mite bombs and my gut feeling
would be to cull those hives with much mites than the rest (two or one
standard deviation?) as a long term estrategy to lower down the impact of
those mite bombs.
The problem is logistic, it takes time to monitor each hive for their
varroa loads, so it is easier to place a treatment when in average one is
crossing a given threshold.
back to the bees. cheers
