Very plausible. AIso, in another scenario, an Off-label ULV (~fogging)
application to a flowering tree/plant could make pollen toxic to pollen
gathering insects.
Clients would often ask me to eliminate foraging insects during
flowering. I suggested they cut down all their trees and install a
concrete yard if they were so phobic of the beauty occurring around them.
