Roberta Greenwood, one of the leading historical archaeologists on the West Coast and a recipient of the J.C. Harrington Medal, has unfortunately passed away. See the announcement from John Forster below.
Roberta worked on the full range of sites on the West Coast: Native American, Spanish, Mexican, Overseas Chinese, and Anglo-American and published widely on all these topics. She was an outstanding field archaeologist and a very nice person. She will indeed be missed by all of us.
