In my area considerable a considerable area of oilseed rape is grown every year - and that has continued through the neonicotinoid ban - despite claims by farmers that it would not be possible.
There have been record yields of oil seed and I do not know of any incidents of pesticide poisoning of bees. Apart from the awful weather this year, all bees seem to be thriving.
I rest my case.
