As far as susceptible to Have rather than to Keep, I am not sure if this is
so.  My experience is the average lifespan of a new beekeeper is about 3
years.  First year enthusiasm, second year know it all, after the third
year they bail  having lost their bees 3 years in a row!  Havers get out;
keepers grow old with their bees.
