> Or download Kindle for $1.99.
There is a surfeit of books available for download, practically everything before 1925 and lots of stuff since. However, there is nothing like a real book. Some of the books that are available as pdfs can be purchase via "print on demand."
For example, I have here a reprint of:
The Honey-Makers, by Margaret Warner Morley (1899)
I ordered these printed:
Honeybees of Asia, Hepburn & Radloff (2011)
Honeybee Nests, Hepburn, Pirk, Duangphakdee (2014)
I have some old bee books from early 20th century, not a huge collection. But I do have the entire twentieth century of Gleanings in Bee Culture as well as the American Bee Journal, hard bound by year.
So, pdfs are great but books are better.
