Hi All

Having kept bees for over 40 years, I have little reaction to stings,  
even the odd one to my face.  While painting trim on our house this  
weekend, a yellow jacket nailed me on my upper lip, and a short while  
later another one got my finger.  Both stings caused swelling equal to  
that in the 1970's when I started beekeeping.

I thought that the venom of various bees, wasps, and hornets was  
similar.
