Be careful what you read into bugs on cars. Not saying it isn't happening,
but different designs in cars will cause more or less splattering. We tend
to have fewer big boxy bug slayers these days. The window on my wife's
Jeep Liberty is always coated with bug guts, the car which gets driven more
almost nada. Darn those engineers ruining longitudinal sampling between
decades anyway.
This discussion was had and drawn out a cpl months back, by the same
poster. With some of the above conclusions, as well as information on the
lack of any real data on the topic.
I didn't reply because there is no sense in rehashing the same argument
with no new info. Apparently though if you repeat it often enough, you may
get some takers.

standards.
