Dear HISTARCHers,
Could anyone point me to good sources for 19th and 20th c. Chinese and Japanese ceramics? Alternatively, if you have expertise in this and want to look at the ceramics at the link below, maybe someone can tell me if these are actually Chinese or Japanese? The material is a refined ironstone, not porcelain.

They were recovered during a reservoir drawdown in Kalamazoo County, MI from what appears to be a dumpsite that would have been deposited on the bank of or near the Kalamazoo River prior to dam construction in the 1940’s.
