Dear Histarchers,



I am working on a very large and diverse ceramic assemblage (ca. 1880-1920) from a Chicago site. I am looking for resources on identifying aesthetic movement patterns, decalcomania, etc. from that era. The assemblage includes French, English, American, Japanese, and Chinese ceramics. I’ve gone through the usual suspects (my thanks to the JefPat’s Diagnostic Artifacts of Maryland site for helping me with the Japanese Geisha Girl porcelains) but would appreciation some additional suggestions.
