Dadant's "The Hive and the Honey Bee" has just about everything that you
could want to know about honey bee biology, plus a whole lot more. Make sure
you get the 2015 edition or at least the 1992 one -- it has been updated
many times over the past 150 years and when buying it used online, often it
isn't clear which edition is being sold to you.
