At an early 1900s Chinese logging camp in Nevada, one of our informants collected a large Chinese globular jar that had been partially buried next to a spring.

Hi All,
Has anyone found large ceramic storage jars (for water or foodstuffs),
partly buried upright into an original dirt floor?
Thanks,
