Hi All,
How do you tell the difference between "Castleford stoneware" and "White
salt-glazed stoneware"? It looks to me the Castleford surface is smoother.
I found these, and photos, listed in the "Alexandria Archaeology Laboratory
Reference Book" by Barbara H. Magid, 2010.
I'm trying to identify a molded white stoneware handle from the San Diego
Presidio.
