Although the apocryphal quote from Einstein is clearly a scare tactic, that
doesn't mean that we shouldn't be concerned about human impact upon
pollinator populations.

Yes, but my last comment was:

> Action is needed but it should be based upon understanding, concern and care for the living world -- not scare tactics. 

In other words, I do not suggest complacency but a serious approach to Agricultural Sustainability as envisioned by people who have thought it all the way through, and factored in the many issues, not just extinction of rare species or economic viability for example. Each of these and others is crucial, but the tendency is to fixate and become a single issue fanatic.
