Hi Kim and all
I first met Gard Otis 1n 1994 when I volunteered at the U of Guelph
bee lab. I met Heather Mattila later as a result of my short
connection to U of G bee program. I was president of the Dufferin
Beeks about the time this paper was published and arranged a joint
meeting with the Wellington group where Heather presented her paper to
a large crowd of local beekeepers. Being near a University with a bee
program makes getting knowledgeable speakers for local groups easier.
