Trevor,  Apple cider vinegar does in fact attract them   In fact if you use
it in a beetle trap they will consume it. when used as an attractant you
need to put mineral oil on the other sides of it.

If I find beetles in the pumpkins we can be sure to get a full ID.


I do use gaurdstar,  its fine here also for SHB.  What I don't know and bugs
the snot out of me,  is what the duration of efficiency in the soil is?  2
weeks??  A week??  2 months??  No clue.  

Toridor on the other hand last for years.......
