Hi Ted and all
Customers at my honour table often comment that you couldn't trust
people where they come from to pay for their honey and make their own
change. Some even bring the money bucket to the house figuring we
forgot to bring it to safety. My youngest daughter decided to no
longer sit on the side of the road selling her dad's honey when she
was 15. She's 37 now! I am aware of two times that someone has
nicked about $50 from the pail. Not bad for over 20 years of sales
as high as $12,000 and averaging about $6000 per year with no
salesperson(most of the time)
IF YOU TRUST PEOPLE, THEY WILL LIVE UP TO YOUR TRUST! IF YOU EXPECT
THEM TO STEAL, THEY WILL PROVE YOU RIGHT!
