> is diarrhea the correct term, not dysentery? Is there a difference?
A big difference. In humans diarrhoea is the passing of loose, watery stools. Dysentery involves infection of the intestine and results in severe diarrhoea containing blood and mucus, so I am not sure that the term is appropriate for bees.
