greetings, I am presently managing 800 colonies here in Quebec and have been instructed to treat the colonies with Thymovar and then feed ( in rapid feeders) the day after. When we return the day after the treatment we see lots of larvae and some pupae on the entrance. First we thought it was just drone ( it’s that time of the year) but no, it’s the whole family out on the porch. has anyone else experienced this, we only want to control varroa by killing it directly, not removing it’s food source. Other than feeding at the same time we are following the recommendations.
Peter
