Is it not where the discussion needs to start?  Virtually every problem that we face is linked to the growth of the human population.  The buzzword these days is 'sustainable', yet it is nothing more than a marketing device.  Even worse when it is linked to 'growth' - how can there be sustainable growth?  Growth for humans just means grabbing more of the world's resources.

A survey reported on television last night showed that most people believe that their children will have a worse life than they have had - that is bad.
