Years ago, Bob Noel and Jim Amrine convinced themselves, and a small number
of other people, that essential oils like spearmint would control varroa
effectively. (Search for ["Noel" "Amrine" "essential oils"] for more than
you'd want to read about it.)

Problem is, it didn't.

The persistent claims likely killed as many hobbyist hives as "powdered
sugar 'treatment'" and Food-Grade Mineral Oil combined.
But people have short memories, so they came out with "Honey Bee Healthy",
the best way to get robbing started, hands-down.

As a product-line extension to Honey-B-Healthy, they've come out with a
dietary supplement.
I'll let someone with some biochem chops tell us if the ingredients are part
of a sensible diet for bees.
