Surely the intention of the panels is to absorb and convert solar 
radiation rather than reflect it.  Of course there must be some 
reflection or they would be invisible, but it must be the 
manufacturers' intention to reduce it to a minimum.

Chris  your right!,  the one I refer to is a reflector array out in the CA
desert.  It reflects sunlight onto a steam tank.  Its unusual and
interesting.  And huge!  There have been a few articles on birds flying
around the beam going up in smoke.
