Two more:

Teaching a group of kids about bees as they cluster 'round the observation hive at the NYS Fair.  Doting Mom standing behind them says, looking at the quart jar feeder on the hive's side:  "Isn't that clever!  All the beekeeper has to do, is put that little jar there and let the bees fill it with honey!"

And the following one has occurred  with astonishing frequency:

After explaining to the customer how flowers impart distinct qualities to honey and giving out samples so they can taste the differences, I'm told "That's nice, but where is your PLAIN honey?"
