Of 19 left had 3 deadouts with honey stores left in several of those deadouts and combined one weak colony so guess you could say I had 25% loss. Have one colony down to two frames with capped brood; but I've seen the queen. I'm feeding honey from last fall so will see how that colony fares this spring. Red maple is finishing up blooming, wild mustard has been blooming since late December, and henbit is now getting into full bloom. Bees are active bringing in pollen and some seem to be starting to make surplus. Have new comb drawn and cells filled but not yet capped.
