Wondjina Research Institute (WRI) has been asked to organize a
Symposium\Session and\or Workshop on the "Current Uses of Portable X-Ray
Fluorescence (pXRF) Technologies and Techniques for Laboratory Studies and
Field Surveys" for this international conference. WRI through Mr. Richard
J. Lundin, BA, MA, RPA, ISAP, AIPG and Dr. Claudia Brackett-Lundin, BS, MS,
Ph.D. has been a pioneer in the use of pXRF technologies since introducing
these technologies to archaeology in 2005 at SHA in in Puerto Rico. Mr.
Lundin and Dr. Brackett-Lundin have acted Chairs or CO-Chairs on this topic
at past international SHA, and SAS Conferences (most recently, the SHA
Conference in New Orleans) and a variety of US local conferences and
