I am happy to announce that Volume 28 of *BEADS: Journal of the Society of
Bead Researchers* (2016) will shortly be rolling off the presses. It
contains articles on beads and beadwork from around the world, as well as
several book reviews. Two of the articles relate to post-contact North
America.
