it was very VERY yellow with OSR/Canola and yet the bees were bringing in
pollen from 14 different species of plant.
We see this all the time. I remember seeing horse chestnut pollen being
brought in by bees in the middle of hundreds of acres of rape - and I could
not even see any horse chestnut trees. Clearly there are scout bees willing
ignore all that rape in full flower and search to see what else is
available.
