<On my 22 acre farm, I grow about 15 acres of certified organic hay:
Alfalfa, Sweet Yellow Clover, Sweet White Clover, Red Clover, Alsike
Clover, Dutch Clover, Grass.>
I have the same at my house (though about 12 acres and I have trefoil
instead of sweet clover). I haven't had time lately to cut for hay. That
being said you have a lot more than alfalfa in there... does the weevil
hurt anything other than alfalfa much? The guys around here complain about
leafhoppers also. For your application a polycrop is much more effective,
but I imagine you might have more trouble if you had a crop of nothing but
alfalfa, which apparently is what they are seeking registration for.
