I have looked for evidence of the longevity of Amm being greater than other subspecies and the only reference I have found is some vague comment in one of the Beowulf Cooper books where he marked some bees in the summer and found some still alive ten weeks later. There was no control with other subspecies.

Have you any study you can quote which supports this as I have been unable to find one.
