Ecclesiastical hardware. Like for statue base or candle holder?  A guess.
What an interesting artifact. Is it possible it is bronze?  I’ll share
photos and please let us know what it is if you can identify. I just
thought it appeared more hardware than jewelry.

I wonder if there could be a Quebec/France connection. Cool stuff!  Thank
