PositionOverview:
Businessunit management position to serve as a focal point for archaeological, culturalresource, and environmental permitting and resource impact studies located inor originating from the Albuquerque, NM region.
Responsibilities:
TRCis seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead, grow, andexpand our existing Planning, Permitting, and Licensing presence in the greaterAlbuquerque area. We are ideally seeking a strong seller/doer with asolid reputation of building and maintaining key client relationships and theability to effectively lead a multi-disciplinary team toward accomplishingstrategic goals. This position is responsible for the management of anexisting multimedia environmental Planning, Permitting and Licensing practiceand duties include oversight of environmental projects, profitable growth, andstaff recruitment, retention, and mentoring. As an Office Practice Leader(OPL) within the Northwest/Intermountain Region you will work with otherregional OPLs and Market Directors to support and expand business lines (e.g.,transportation, utility/transmission, renewables, development, water,federal/state/local agencies) as well as developing and executing profitablegrowth plans and overseeing and/or managing projects. You will report tothe Northwest/Intermountain Group Practice Leader (GPL) and will work with theGPL and with TRC’s national Market Directors to support and expand businesslines, develop and execute a profitable growth plan to serve clients in theregion, and create a stronger TRC presence in New Mexico and surroundingstates.
Requirements:
M.S. Degree in environmental sciences or related fields. MS degree preferred.Must have a proven track record in business development, business management, andstaff growth/retention. Must have experience working with crossdisciplinary environmental and engineering teams, and front end projectdevelopment projects. Expertise in the business lines identified above isa plus. Knowledge and experience with regulatory permits and approvalsfrom the state of New Mexico and/or other states in the region and from federalagencies including BLM, BIA, USACE, and the USFWS is important.
