Hello Christina,

Very interesting item.  Do you have a history of this piece?  

Although at first appearance, it seems to be a 
well crafted bee box.  On further analysis, I
do not see how the unit might be operated 
effectively in the field.  Therefore, I am 
of the opinion that it 'may not' be a bee box.
