In the Penn State study of pesticides in the hive, fipronil was found at
high levels (PPM not PPB) in the bee itself.
It was in wax and pollen in the low PPB range.
But are we not worried about "sub-lethal" doses of the neonics (which
barely show up in the study). In essence, we should be more worried about
near lethal doses of stuff we put in our hives and that is one of the
conclusions of the study.
