What we do have are lines of merely hygienic bees, which can
sometimes handle very small AFB problems with aplomb, but this is a
behavior, not a "resistance" to infection by AFB spores.
Comment:
This is a semantic quibble. Hygienic bees exhibit a disease resistant behavior, which can be referred to as resistance to disease. Much the same as sanitation in humans is a resistant behavior which leads populations to be resistant to disease. The point is, they don't get sick even though disease causing organisms are present in the environment
