Hello all
The SPMA will hold their fourth annual Post-Medieval Archaeology Congress in Glasgow, Friday 22 - Sunday 24 March. Glasgow plays host some of the most impressive post-medieval and later-historical architecture and archaeology in the world, and has a long industrial history. The venue for the paper and poster sessions will be the University of Glasgow, founded in 1451 and one of Scotland’s four ancient universities. Research on post-medieval and historical archaeology from around the world has been showcased at previous Congresses, demonstrating the breadth of interest and knowledge in our field from researchers at all stages of their career, whether academics, students, commercial, or community archaeologists.
The programme and paper and poster abstracts are now on the SPMA website: www.spma.org.uk/events/pmac2019/ and delegates can register for the congress, as well as our optional tours of Art Nouveau Glasgow and sites and in the surrounding area, here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/post-medieval-archaeology-congress-2019-tickets-55110038609
Discounted delegate fees are available to members of the Society for Post-Medieval Archaeology, and to students and unwaged delegates.
