Good morning. I am in the field and was wondering if any of the militaryexperts out there could confirm that this is a French military button. Itis from Southern Ontario. The Internet seems to suggest that it isa Rouergue Régiment button (59th), but I know that the Brits used a similardecorative motif on their buttons. However, the British 59th doesn't seemto have used this motif. Any insights? And, yes, we in Ontario are still in the field!Cheers and thanks!Katie Hullhttps://www.dropbox.com/s/q6gg3mm9mef4gj4/S__D851.jpg?dl=0https://www.dropbox.com/s/k3p34p8nxvaeapd/S__6251%20%281%29.jpg?dl=0
