RESERVATION DEADLINE IS WEDNESDAY MARCH 19 for Old Pueblo Archaeology
Center's Thursday March 20, 2014, 6 to 8:30 p.m. "Third Thursday Food for
Thought" dinner featuring the presentation "How Many Archaeological Sites
are There in Arizona?" by the Arizona State Museum's Rick Karl at Golden
Corral Restaurant, 4380 E. 22nd St., Tucson. Almost all of the
archaeological sites that have been identified and recorded in Arizona by
archaeologists are now included in AZSITE, an internet-access cultural
resources database jointly managed by the Arizona State Museum (ASM),
Arizona State University, and the State Historic Preservation Office. In
this program the manager of AZSITE will describe that database and provide
the latest count of archaeological sites that have been recorded in Arizona.
Guests may select and purchase their own dinners from the restaurant's menu.
There is no entry fee but donations will be requested to benefit Old
Pueblo's educational efforts.

Because seating is limited in order for the program to be in
compliance with the Fire Code, those wishing to attend must call
520-798-1201 and must have their reservations confirmed before 5 p.m.
Wednesday March 19.
