I have trouble with the term "locally adapted". Don't we really mean
"locally compatible"? If I have 3 hives: A, B and C, and A and C die,
then perhaps B is "compatible" with my area while A and C weren't, but I
don't seriously think that the bees in hive B have "adapted".
