the asterisk/star base was typically used by the San Francisco & Pacific Glass Works (1876-1902)...and possibly the "cross" (2 line segments) too. Digits or dots on a base are too random to ID usually. They could simply be mold codes.
But, if all these were found in Same context...then the SF&PGW mark is your best "guess" on their date of manufacture.
See here for other info, more symbols, maker's logos, etc.

Subject: FOUR EMBOSSED GLASS BASES
Hello All
I was hoping that I can 'pick the brains' of a very knowledgeable group
of people
I am trying to identify 4 embossed base fragments. The glass is from a
town dump and a mission station that date to the early 19th century
* Case/gin bottle base with a cross embossed in the centre of the base
* Case/gin bottle base with a star embossed on the bottle base
* Round bottle base with the number 10 embossed (off centre) on the base
* Round bottle base with 3 dots (mamelons?) in the form of a triangle
with the letter P at the base of the 3 dots
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Kind regards
Debbie
