I have yet to read the full paper, but from what I can glean from the
abstract:
"GM-soy contained high residues of glyphosate and AMPA (mean 3.3 and
5.7mg/kg, respectively). Conventional and organic soybean batches contained
none of these agrochemicals..."
One is safe in assuming that both the "GMO" and "conventional" crops were
treated with similar levels of Round-Up (Glyphosate), or the paper would
have no meaning at all. Obviously, the "organic" soybeans can be assumed to
not be treated with Round-Up. But if this paper does nothing but detect
differences in cultivation practices, then it would be a blatant sham. I'm
concluding that "published" implies "not an obvious shame".
But, as I said, I've not read the full paper.
